YIPEEEE

Whew, okay, we both have jobs. Okay, they don't start until March (sigh) but at least we have some reassurance and hope. Now all we have to do is make it that far. (Day labor here I come)

The flip side of that is yes, I will be working full time - plus ranching so...the web building just moved to almost "hobby" status. This is a mixed blessing. I can relax about getting new pages up and trying to get things to go and work and make money and just do whatever comes to me whenever I feel like doing it. That will be nice, actually, very nice. Certain things will probably languish. On the other hand, I'll be able to get broadband out at the ranch eventually and have more time to work on stuff without the limitations imposed by using the public computers.

Wow. I thought I would never in my life have a real "J-O-B" and paycheck again. It will actually be a relief and a pleasure, at least for a while. :P I have never gone this long without some sort of outside employment in my life. Blessed Tulsa!

They also hired James and are going to train him as a cook. This is great because - well, more training in anything is always a good thing but - especially after this last little bout with white collar work, he is thinking he actually used to enjoy restaurant work. The problem was he became a victim of his own success and they moved him into management. He really liked just working in the kitchen. So we've been talking about him looking for a job as a cook. And voila' - here it is. With this bit of experience and training, if he wants to go on being a cook, he can.

Live and learn, right?

Oh yeah - the employer is Denny's. Hey - its a job, we are where we want to be, and it is going to be a good thing for us both. Now if we can just keep food on the table and gas in the car until it starts we'll be doing good.

And I hope everyone is having a lovely week. It is raining/snowing out there, so who knows when we'll get back in. It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be today though. And it's lovely to look at.

Blessedbe
