Yes, that is a wild Oryx grazing with our cattle and horses! James went back later to take the photos and captured some better ones of the oryx, I just didn't get a chance to edit and resize them for sharing and now the ftp program is being uncooperative. He also saw Bri's calf! As well as a pair of Goshawks, all of which he got photos of. I'll pretty them up and share when we get back in a couple days. Later on we got to watch a Painted Turtle having a blast playing in a big mud puddle I made when I emptied the kiddie pool I soak in on hot afternoons. He would walk through it with his head under the water, swishing around, then stop and raise his neck and legs to full length, his head tilted back as if to say, "AHHHHHH", then do it again. He probably played in that shallow mud puddle for half an hour before going off on his turtle business. We had a bit of rain this evening, which always makes for a beautiful sunset.
