Leprechauns – the best known Irish fey folk

I’ve written a lens over at Squidoo about Leprechauns and you’ll find some St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages and coloring books, too.

The Irish have a long and marvelous heritage of stories of the fey folk and while the leprechaun may be the best known to the general public – those of us who love the fey are certainly just as familiar with the stories of the Sidh or Túatha Dé Dannan. It’s always good to be careful not to offend The Good People as like many fey they can be very helpful and generous – or very mischievious and destructive. Tonight just might be a good night to leave them a bowl of milk by the door.
