Call 'em pixies, nixies, nymphs, fairies, faeries, elves, merfolk, halflings, hobbits, gnomes, drow, dryad, dwarves, centaurs, medusa, imps, kobolds, apsara, leprechans, sprites, or what you will, it is abundantly clear that I am not the only person who has an interest in the fey folk.
LeFey is a mixture of lightheartedness and serious research, art, clipart, writing, articles, book and game reviews, fantasies, and stories.

More wonderful fairy illustrations from Dover

Some things have to be believed to be seen.

Dover has more wonderful fairy illustration books on offer this week. The little picture above is from their A Wonderous Stained Glass Realm of Winged Sprites which is a neat book of 16 illustrations you can color with the enclosed markers. When hung in the window they let the light shine through like real stained glass. Very clever! (This one I just copied into PSP and colored on the computer). If you aren't signed up to get their sampler yet - you really should be. Hardly a week goes by without some new wonderful fairy things - coloring book, crafts, clipart.

If you are looking for Fairy ecards I want to remind you that I do have them over at Fre-ecards.com. I just gave that site a major face-lift this week and added a blog so you can subscribe to the RSS and keep up on new additions.

Hmmm...maybe I'll put that pretty fairy at the top on an ecard today...

Fairy Coloring Pages

As you may know, I also have a website devoted to Coloring Pages. Today I just added a a new fairy princess coloring page to go with the Fairy Prince I added last week. Here are thumbnails so you can see them: fairy prince coloring page

That brings me up to a total of five fairy coloring pages, or line art that you can color or use for - whatever!

I am always open to requests, if there is something in particular you'd like to have. Be sure and put "Color-Your-Own" or something similar in the subject line so I'll know it isn't SPAM.
