welcome to

It's all about the fey folk. Call 'em pixies, nixies, nymphs, fairies, faeries, elves, merfolk, halflings, hobbits, gnomes, drow, dryad, dwarves, centaurs, medusa, imps, kobolds, apsara, leprechans, sprites, or what you will, it is abundantly clear that I am not the only person who has an interest in the fey folk.

LeFey is a mixture of lightheartedness and serious research, art, clipart, writing, articles, book and game reviews, fantasies, and stories.

Enjoy!

Sylvia Browne Believes

I just finished reading the book "Phenomena" by Sylvia Browne. She describes her own experience of seeing a fairy in Ireland, and has some interesting things to say about the Underworld (where the fey live) and Lilith, Queen of the Faeries. The rest of the book is quite interesting as well. Because it is set up alphabetically, rather like an encyclopedia, you will also find it very easy to pick and choose. For Fairy information, look under fairy, Lilith, and the Underworld.

Fairy PSP tubes!

I.ve wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I.m happy to state I finally won out over it.

- Mary Chase

Aw, reality, who needs it? Mind you - I do believe in the fey folks. If you love fairy "stuff"; and happen, like myself, to still love the old Paint Shop Pro (before Corel bought them and ruined it) check out these PSP tubes with fairies. That will give you something fun to play with today

Blessedbe

Pan's Labyrinth - movie review

I found Pan's Labyrinth magical and yet quite realistic. As a story of the fey, you could hardly do better as the faun is equally as threatening at times as he is wonderful. The CGI is seamlessly integrated into the movie as a prop, not the purpose. The backdrop of war and the sinister stepfather and desperate guerillas make this real life so confusing and frightening, it is easy to see how any child might prefer faery. And yet - faery, too has frightening monsters - the pale monster is particularily gross and terrifying to me! The DVD I watched was in spanish, with subtitles. The more foreign fare I watch (and enjoy) the more I prefer subtitles over dubbing in English.
