World's Sexiest Vegetarian!
Carrie Underwood won PETA's World's Sexiest Vegetarian. This is especially cool in my opinion as she is from Oklahoma. Yes, this good ol' boy state where I am often looked at as if I were an alien when I request a vegetarian alternative or simply ask them to prepare "x" without the meat. In fact, I have had wait staff literally laugh in my face, or snarl and tell me I should just have a salad. So, you know, I'm not really into the whole American Idol thing, although I did watch bits of the first episode or two. But you go, Carrie! Kudos, too, for bravery in standing up against the beef industry in one of the States where it is the strongest. Good eating! Summer
