Thai Burgers and Spicy Sesame Linguine Dinner

A couple of new things to try caught my eye at the store last week. Here's the results!

Ingredients

  • Morningstar Farms Thai Burgers

  • Al Dente spicy sesame linguine (6 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic

  • 1 teaspoon kalonji

  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger

  • 3 tablespoons Bragg's Soy Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

  • I cooked the Thai burgers on the stovetop - so I started them first and cooked according to package directions.

Setting the water on to boil, and when it boiled, adding the sesame noodles and boiling them for the suggested 3 minutes. I added about a tablespoon of Olive Oil to the water to avoid sticking.

In a small skillet, I heated the 3 tablespoons Olive Oil and sauteed the spices (garlic, kalonji, and ginger) just long enough for the garlic to turn golden. I poured that into a small, thick walled glass bowl and added the soy sauce and lemon juice, then stirred briskly to mix. I let that bowl stand on the stove between the burners to keep the sauce a bit warm.

Soon as the patties were done - that was it! We piled noodles on the plate, patties on the noodles, and sauce drizzled over all. Turned out delicious! Just enough for two.
